The students of the Department of Clinical Nutrition, level four, organized, within the framework of the nutritional education course, an open educational event about (healthy nutrition) in the presence of the Vice Presidents of the University, Dr. Abdul-Wahhab Al-Kahlani and Dr. Turki Al-Qabbani, and under the supervision of the head of the department, Prof. Dr. Abdul-Halil Dirham. In the presence of a number of university students from different departments and specializations University visitors and guests.
On the objectives of the event, the Academic Affairs Officer in the department, Dr. Ghaida Ibrahim Ahmed Hafez, indicated that the event aims to introduce university students and all attendees and visitors to healthy and integrated nutrition, and to raise awareness in the community about healthy nutritional methods and the dangers of improper nutrition on human health and the most prominent diseases resulting from that.
She pointed out that the students were divided into groups, and each group handled awareness and education on specific topics. This activity comes within the framework of refining students' skills in awareness and guidance aspects and dealing with various groups of society. The activity also comes within the framework of the university's orientations and goals in the field of community service.
