The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al-Razi University participates in the inauguration of the annual general Holy Quran competition in the capital secretariat

Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Education, Mr. Yahya bin Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, and the Mayor of the capital, Sana’a, Dr. Hammoud Abbad, and under the supervision and coordination of the Education Office in the Secretariat, represented by the Departments of Activities and Teaching the Holy Qur’an, the annual general Holy Qur’an competition was launched today for students of the Holy Qur’an schools and centers in the Capital Municipality at Al-Shaab Mosque for the year 1443 AH / 2021-2022 AD.
And at the inauguration, which was attended by the Mayor of the capital, Dr. Hammoud Abbad, the head of the Zakat Authority, Sheikh Shamsan Abu Nashtan, the first deputy of the capital’s municipality, Khaled Al-Madani, the director of the Education Office in the municipality, Abdul Qadir Abbas Al-Mahdi, the director general of the Department of Holy Qur’an Education at the Ministry of Education Salem Al-Waeli, the director of the Guidance Office, Dr. Qais Al-Tal, and the head of the Council The Trustees of Al-Razi University, Dr. Tariq Al-Nahmi, and the Executive Director of the Smart Gate, Engineer Hashem Hamid Al-Din, affirmed that the Capital Municipality’s leadership will continue to provide support for the preservation of the Holy Qur’an from the schools and centers of the Municipality and encourage them to continue their Qur’anic giving and work with it and spread its culture and teachings.
While Sheikh Abu Nishtan praised the continuation of this blessed annual competition, urging to reflect on its verses and their meanings and embody them in the reality of life. He called on the contestants to be aware of the challenges facing the nation and to arm themselves with the teachings of religion and the tolerant Sharia. And in turn, the Director of the Education Office in the Secretariat, Abdul Qadir Abbas Al-Mahdi, congratulated our students for preserving the Book of God and their arrival in the final competitions, pointing to the importance of adopting and supporting the Holy Qur’an episodes throughout the year, because of its positive impact on society. Under the leadership of Khaled Al-Uqbi and Abdullah Samina, in the preparation and organization of the competition aimed at enhancing the pace of the culture of the Qur’anic curriculum. In the competition, which was attended by the deputies of the Director of the Education Office of the Municipality, Abdul Karim Al-Dahhak, Hafez Ibrahim and Ashwaq Al-Maqheli, the Director-General of the Education Division in the Education Office, Muhammad Al-Dhamari, stressed that the bearers of the Book of God and its memorizers are the most distinguished and lofty people with the light that God Almighty bestowed in their hearts to walk the path of goodness and benefit. themselves and their community. It is worth mentioning that the annual competition included 480 male and female students who memorized the Book of God for the category of twenty-five parts and the entire Qur’an to conclude by honoring the winners and winners of the memorization of the Book of God in its thirty-third edition. A number of directors of departments and their deputies, directors of educational districts, heads of departments, student supervisors, authorities and parents participated in the inauguration.
