The registration and admission team and the marketing team at Al-Razi University hold a meeting headed by the Secretary-General to discuss the marketing and registration plan for the academic year 2022-2023 and implement the university president’s decisions regarding the outcomes of the consultative meeting with private universities.
The registration and admission team and the marketing team at Al-Razi University held a meeting headed by the Secretary-General Dr. Ammar Al-Thibani. The meeting, which was attended by the registration and admission team and the marketing team at the university, discussed the marketing and registration plan for the academic year 2022-2023 and the implementation of the university president’s decisions emanating from the outcomes of the consultative meeting with private universities that was held under the chairmanship of the Minister of Higher Education And scientific research Hussein Hazeb, and it included the Deputy Minister of Higher Education, the leaders of the ministry, the Academic Accreditation Council, the Information Technology Center, and the heads of private universities related to the policy of coordination and admission for the academic year 1444 AH. And the adoption of the new academic year in the Hijri calendar, in implementation of the directives of the leadership, which will start from the month of Muharram 1444 AH. The meeting also discussed opening the door for coordination and admission to private universities after a month from government universities, through the electronic portal (http:// oasyemen.net) affiliated to the Information Technology Center. As well as developing and modernizing the infrastructure in line with the absorptive capacity of the programs and specializations it contains and according to the available capabilities and the absorptive capacity indicators prepared by the Academic Accreditation Council, and the issue related to the approval of admission rates in private universities with a five percent reduction from the general system in public universities.
As well as the continuation of the reduction granted by the martyr President Saleh Al-Sammad by 30 percent of university fees.
The meeting concluded with a number of proposals to be submitted to the university leadership for review and decision-making.
